The new ABC show Resurrection is a captivating drama-filled mystery dealing with deceased loved ones who suddenly return to life and the belief in faith. It has received many good reviews, including this one.

The first episode kept you on your toes, wondering and anticipating what would happen next. The producers and writers did a phenomenal job setting up the plot of the story, making sure the audience stays interested. The intended audience is adults because of the complex concepts. It also appeals to parents because the first case of resurrection. Jacob (Landon Gimenez) is the son of Henry (Kurtwood Smith) and Lucille Langston (Frances Fisher) shows up alive 32 years after drowning. The writers incorporate flashbacks into the show showing  the relationships between the child and his parents.

Resurrection deserves an A simply because of the deep plot that unfolds. The show has great potential and a good message; the little things in life should be cherished, because you never know when they will be gone.

Airing at 9 p.m. every Sunday, Resurrection is a suspense filled drama you don’t want to miss. The show is great drama/mystery that will keep you thinking, even after you are finished watching it.  For binge watching, the show is on Hulu Plus. Grade: A
