In the 21st century, people are all about high definition or 3D effects for their television. EA Sports satisfied our every need with the release of FIFA 13. “The game has much better graphics than FIFA 12 and is more realistic,” said sophomore Nic Leininger.
4.5 million copies of the game sold worldwide in the first five days. “It is amazing,” said sophomore Ryan Knorr. “There is great skill moves, spectacular graphics, and there are no glitches or as many people hacking just to be better than everyone else like in most of the Call of Duty games. My favorite feature if Ultimate Team.” The Ultimate Team feature in the game lets you make money by winning matches, sell and buy players and manage a team just like in real life.
Junior Rammil said, “It is my first FIFA video game besides FIFA Street, which doesn’t really count. The game has a good variety of International teams, but my favorite team to play with is Real Madrid.” FIFA 13 has much better graphics and more player friendly features than previous versions. Sophomore Ryan Knight said, “I love the online features especially since every time I play Ryan Knorr, I dog him.” Grade: A

Walking Dead

AMC’s, The Walking Dead is a massive hit with over 10.5 million viewers tuning in for the season three premiere. 7.9 million of those viewers ranged from 18 to 49 years of age. Walking Dead has was transformed into a highly anticipated video game players have been hitting in recent months.
As in the show, the disturbing zombies are back. Unlike the show, the characters have changed a bit. Rick Grimes, the shows main character, has been replaced by Lee Everett, a convicted murderer thrown into jail just before the zombie apocalypse. He is released into an unsettling world after his crimes are forgotten. Released into the new world of zombies, he meets a young female child named Clementine.
His goal is to find the girl’s parents, who went away on a poorly timed vacation, hoping they are still alive and not contaminated with the flesh munchies. The former murderer changes his frame of mind and hopes to survive the apocalypse and find the young girl’s parents. Grade: B+
