Two Shows Deal With Appearance in Different Ways

The Face

You can gain access to the exciting and dramatic world of the modeling with Oxygen’s The Face, which features three teams of models, each led by one of the supermodel coaches, Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha. The coaches scout and choose their teams from aspiring young models nationwide before guiding them through assignments including  challenges like photo shoots, runway shows and commercials for some of America’s best known and most popular brands.

Throughout the series, the supermodel coaches mentor the young girls, taking the lessons and skills they have learned and using them to guide their teams through challenges designed to show what it takes to have a career as a model. During the process, these young models will be exposed to some of the best photographers, stylists and designers in the very competitive fashion world. In the end, one girl will be chosen to become “The Face” of a well-known brand, in this case the beauty brand ULTA.

As the ambassador of the brand, the winner will represent the company in every medium, making the show all the more competitive. If you are a fan of reality with a more feminine taste in TV shows, you’ll like this. It represents a mix of two famous shows – The Voice and America’s Next Top Model. ANTM judge Nigel Barker even hosts The Face. Although this show just premiered, it’s never too late to catch up and tune in. Grade: B+
