Blink 182 has released their new album, Neighborhoods, after seven years of working apart on individual projects. The band proves they still have it and that they haven’t changed since their last album. The music is as catchy as ever and entertaining. Songs like “Wishing Well” and “Ghost on the Dance Floor” are fast and fun and are sure to get stuck in your head, though some of their songs become somewhat repetitive and sound similar to other songs on the album.

They also have songs that show off their softer and lighter sides. Songs like “Fighting the Gravity” and “Even if She Falls” prove that there is more to the band than their hard edgy look. The band knows what works for them and are still the same group they were back in 2007. The music is a nice flashback to the good old days when Blink 182 was on top. Hopefully, this album will bring them back into the limelight and allow a new generation to fall in love. The return of this band is sure to be epic and their old fans and new fans are going to enjoy this new album and look forward to the tour that follows. Grade B+
