Friday, March 25, Northern boys lacrosse faces off against the Leonardtown Raiders. JV plays at 5 with the varsity following at 6:30. The Patriots try to repeat as SMAC conference champions. While the Raiders have their eye on the SMAC championship this year.
March 25 is also Maryland Day which extends through the weekend. This is a chance for every Marylander to get out and explore the state they live in. You can tour the State House and local museums. On Saturday, March 26 Maryland Day in Galesville will be celebrated at 1 p.m. at the Galesville Heritage Museum. Rams Head Tavern in Annapolis has their Maryland Day celebration on Sunday, March 27 from 11 a.m. to 11p.m.
The Bow-Tie Cinemas located in the Annapolis Mall has several movies playing. PG films include the animated films Rango and Mars Needs Moms. PG-13 films include Battle: Los Angeles and Beastly. R rated films include Hall Pass and the new Take Me Home Tonight.
