The new remake of Nightmare on Elm Street focuses on how Freddy became who he is. He was a pedophile who molested young children. All the kids in the kindergarten class he targeted start having nightmares now that they are teenagers. Suddenly, they are being murdered in their dreams by Freddy Krueger. This is his way to get revenge on them because when thy were younger they told on him and that ultimately led to his death. Now,  he has come back with a vengeance.

This Freddy isn’t as scary as the previous ones were. The movie is okay… the same old getting murdered in your dreams stuff. You never know which parts are real and which parts are dreams which gets old after a while. It’s a pretty jumpy movie, but it’s also pretty predictable. Grade: C
