Lady Gaga Review

On November 23, The Fame Monster was released, over a year after Lady Gaga’s debut album, The Fame. The re-released album contains eight new tracks complete with club ready beats and shiny synths, which makes it great to listen to really loud with the bass up high. On the album, Gaga collaborates with pop diva Beyoncé on the track “Telephone” It’s adrenaline-pumped and is bound to make you dance. “Monster” and “Dance in the Dark” contain ’80s drum-hits and stuttering synths that will make you want to play them on repeat.

The re-release only has one track to drag it down, “Teeth,” though this can be easily overlooked considering the other great songs. Lady Gaga hasn’t changed much since The Fame, but still tries new things on these tracks, making it interesting. Lady Gaga has earned her way to become a pop icon, and this re-release definitely shows she’s here to stay. Grade: A+
