Review: It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

The Gang is back, and they’re as funny as ever. “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”, the comedy which airs on Thursdays at 10 p.m. on FX, has returned for its fifth season, and it continues to be absolutely laugh-out-loud hilarious.

The show follows a group of dishonest, vain, self-centered jerks who run a bar in South Philadelphia. Along with Frank (Danny DeVito), they get into crazy hijinks resulting in a wonderfully raw, edgy, brilliant comedy that is sure to have you in stitches with each joke. Whether it’s lying about having cancer, abandoning a girl to muggers, or pretending to be disabled, nothing is off-limits for this wildly funny bunch. This is one show that cannot be missed. (Rated MA) Grade: A+
