Zombieland Review

zombieland-posterZombieland is yet another absurd zombie movie involving moronic creatures who were once human beings. Thankfully, this is one of the better crazed zombie movies and is completely worth your time and money. This new take on zombies is clever and witty and will keep you enticed the entire movie.

The story of Zombieland (by first time feature director Ruben Fleischer) is told by a nervous narrator named Columbus. It takes a comedic look at a society where disease has spread, causing most of the population to become zombies. The remaining non-zombies are either people who have previously lived life as loners or have learned to become emotionally independent.

The film follows an unlikely group of people who partner together to traverse th country while trying to accomplish their own goals of looking for lost family, living out childhood dreams, and finding a Twinkie factory. Woody Harrelson does an amazing jo playing Tallahassee, a fearless crazed zombie-killer while Jesse Eisenberg plays the role of Columbus, a socially awkward ex-World of Warcraft player. After they meet up, they find two young girls, Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin). The four have to resort to abnormal methods to survive among the pandemonium. Grade: A
